Pakistan Navy rescues, saves 39 lives in Ormara

KARACHI – Pakistan Navy teams rescued 39 people who were injured in an accident near zero point, Ormara.

The injured were immediately shifted to Pakistan Navy hospital PNS DARMANJAAH at Jinnah Naval Base Ormara by PN ambulances.

The accident took place in the early hours today, when a passenger bus rammed into an ambulance near Maneyjee Check post, almost 14 km away from Ormara. The ill-fated bus was on its way from Karachi to Turbat.

PN Rescue teams along with civil administration reached the scene of incident to evacuate and provide first aid to the injured.

34 passengers who sustained minor injuries were discharged after necessary treatment. Later on, five severely injured were shifted to Karachi via Pakistan Navy and civil ambulances.
