LAHORE – At least five persons were arrested for allegedly hunting deer in Jandiala area of Lahore.
The wildlife officials with the help of Rangers held five persons for illegal hunting.
Wildlife officials got a tip-off that five persons were engaged in illegal hunting of deer upon which the officials conducted a raid with Rangers in Jandiala and arrested five accused while two of their accomplices fled the scene.
The Wildlife officials also recovered weapons, rounds and three deer. The accused were identified as Mubashir, Pervez, Zahid, Shamshad Gull and Zaka.
Shahrukh Butt, a wildlife officer, said that legal action will be taken against the accused.-Online
