Khursheed Shah gets his pocket picked in Lahore

LAHORE – Opposition Leader of the National Assembly Khursheed Shah got his pocket picked during funeral prayers of Jahangir Badar on Monday.

According to media details, while assembling for funeral prayers, Khursheed Shah got his wallet picked.

His pouch had computerised national identity card (CNIC) and assembly card of the opposition leader, and 20,000 rupees in it.

The senior PPP leader was suffering from kidney and cardiac problems.

The senior PPP leader and former secretary general of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) passed away late last night. He was taken to a private hospital after his condition got unstable.

Former Prime Minister (PM) Yousuf Raza Gilani, Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah, Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and several other party leaders attended Badar’s funeral prayers held at Punjab University ground.
