Rear Admiral Waseem Akram becomes Vice Admiral

ISLAMABAD – Rear Admiral Waseem Akram has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral.

According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, Rear Admiral Waseem Akram who was serving as Commander Coast has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral.

As Commander Coast, he was in charge of all units and establishments of Pakistan Navy along the Coastal belt and Creek Areas.

Waseem Akram was commissioned in Operations Branch of Pakistan Navy in 1982. The Admiral has distinguished career with wide-ranging Command and Staff experience.

In recognition of his meritorious services, the officer has been awarded Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Sitara-i-Basalat.-Online
