Seven oil firm officials kidnapped from FATA

DERA ISMAIL KHAN – Seven officials of an Oil and Gas company were kidnapped by unidentified men on Saturday from the tribal areas.

The officials who were working a Polish firm kidnapped from the border of South Waziristan and FR Dera Ismail Khan, along with three cars.

The kidnappers have not made any demands or revealed their identity. “However, political agent of the area is using his men to recover the hostages”, reports Geo TV.

The area where the officials have been kidnapped falls under the jurisdiction of the Federally Administer Tribal Areas (FATA).

In March this year, seven government officials were kidnapped from FATA and released two months later.
