Ziaullah Afridi slams KP’s accountability commission

PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) former provincial minister Ziaullah Afridi slammed accountability commission terming it “Pervez Khattak commission”. It has only been established to humiliate civil officers and take revenge from political rivals.

Addressing PTI Chairman Imran Khan, he said that it is a test for IK that would decide whether he wanted to save his ideology or Pervez Khattak.

Speaking to reporters at Peshawar Press Club, Afridi attacked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak said that the commission has been made a “slave”, as members of the commission were dictated by the CM.

Criticising performance of the commission, he said that no action has been taken against the finance minister in Khyber Bank scandal, adding that seven cases of minerals scandal were pending against Excise Minister Mian Jamshed.

According to the commission, his crime was imposing ban on extracting minerals. He warned the commission that PTI youth could reach Hayatabad if they had reached Islamabad.
