CM Shahbaz inaugurates Punjab Land Authority and Data Record Center in Lahore

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday inaugurated Punjab Land Authority and Data Record Center in Lahore.

The centre, which is equipped with latest techniques, is set up at a cost of eight hundred million rupees.

Speaking on the occasion Punjab Chief Minister said the Center would help in curbing embezzlement in the land record. He said data entry of 55.5 million landowners has been completed”. “No record can be accessed through bribe”, he added.

The chief minister said in case the paper land records are disposed of, Punjab Land Records Authority will have the land record safe and sound.

He said all land records of Punjab are safe.
