LAHORE (Web Desk) – Veteran actor Roohi Bano was wounded in an attack by unidentified armed men in Lahore, media reports said.
Police officials confirmed the attack and said Bano was attacked with a sharp-edge weapon at her residence in Defence Housing Authority.
She was ferried to Services Hospital in critical condition. Later, she reached the Gulberg police station and lodged a report against the attackers.
It may be mentioned here that Bano’s only son was killed by unidentified attackers in Lahore’s Gulberg area eight years ago. The incident had left her mentally unstable.
