ISLAMABAD – On Wednesday police arrested five persons impersonating police officers and involved in looting people openly by establishing picket on road of the capital city.
Following credible information, the police arrested a group in which a person was impersonating a SP who received kickbacks from citizens in guise of verifying the document of vehicles.
The group had established a checkpost on Daman-e-Koh Road, Islamabad where they checked every vehicle to mint money.
Accused persons, including Hamza, Raja Furqan, Zervaiz Waleed, Shafiq and Haziq Ali, have confessed their crime.
However, the police impounded the vehicle held by suspects and registered a case against them, in addition to shifting them to an unknown location for interrogation.
