KARACHI – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Rabitta Committee on Saturday expelled 13 party workers over severe violation of party decorum from its Labour Division, local media reported.
According to a notification issued from MQM-Pakistan, those expelled from the party have no link with MQM-Pakistan.
Earlier, MQM-Pakistan had revoked the basic membership of Ali Raza Abidi and directed him to resign from the National Assembly. In January, party sources had stated that Abidi had rejoined the party.
On August 23, MQM Pakistan had disassociated itself from controversial anti-Pakistan comments made by the party leadership in London, with Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar taking control of the party leadership.
