DAMASCUS – At least 25 people were killed when a suicide bomber attacked a courthouse in the Syrian capital on Wednesday.
“A terrorist blows himself up inside the old palace of justice in Damascus and there are dead and wounded,” state television said in a breaking news alert.
The bomber exploded himself after police tried to stop him from entering the building, Ahmed al-Sayyid, a senior state legal official told al-Ikhbariya TV.
