KOHISTAN (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced raise in salaries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.
Addressing a public rally in Kohistan – a remote district in KP province – on Tuesday, the PTI chief said the police in KPK province is no longer politicised. He also announced a raise in salaries of the police force.
A large number of party supporters attended the rally amid high security.
Imran Khan also said his government will seek a halt in cutting of trees in the area.
“I always wanted to construct a national park in Kohistan, “Khan said while announcing construction of a national park in Kohistan district.
He further asked his party supporters to start preparing for the elections while terming 2015 as the ‘year of election’.
