Ramazan 2017: First fast likely on May 28

ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that the Holy month of Ramzan is set to begin on May 28 (Sunday) and is expected to end on June 25.

The Met department forecast slight chance of sighting the new moon of Ramazan, 1438 AH on the evening of May 27 i.e. on 30th of Shaban, 1438 AH.

The new moon of Ramazan, 1438 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 00-45 PST on 26-05-2017, an official of Met office told APP.

He informed that according to climate record, the weather is expected to be fair/partly cloudy in most parts of the country on May 26 evening.
