India told to rein in RAW

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan has already warned the neighbouring country about the nefarious designs being hatched by India’s top spy agency, Research Analysis Wing (RAW), disturbing peace in the country, said Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry.

Talking to journalists on Thursday, the foreign secretary affirmed that India has been provided the evidences of RAW’s involvement in terror activities continued in Pakistan.

“Recently, two terrorists who are currently under detention, revealed to investigators about their training in India,” Aizaz told the media men. He added Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and COAS General Raheel Sharif clearly conveyed to Afghan government that Pakistan will not allow Taliban or India to use Afghan soil for breeding terror.

He also found the connection between Karachi carnage and Peshawar massacre, adding the ongoing military operations have reduced the terrorists’ strength to only a few splinter groups which are targeting such soft targets.

“The war against terrorism is not over yet,” the top FO official said.

When asked about the possible involvement of Daesh – a terrorist organisation based in Middle East – in recent terror strikes, Aizaz Ch vaguely ruled out its existence in the country. However, he termed it a global threat.
