Punjab boards announce Matric Results 2017 (check results here)

LAHORE/ RAWALPINDI – The results of Matric annual examination 2017 of all the eight boards, functioning under Education Department Punjab, announced on Tuesday.

 

According to result stats, Umar Tariq obtained 1st position by getting 1087 marks, two students Soban Khalid and Aleesa Kaleem secured the second position by getting 1086 marks. The students Muhammad Abdullah and Muhammad Abdullah Saleem got the third position by obtaining 1085 marks.

In the Rawalpindi board, the top three positions went to boys, whereas, in Multan and Bahawalpur the top positions were secured by girls.

In Rawalpindi, Amber liaqat secured first position by attaining 1082 marks and Maryam Khalid achieve second position with 1079 marks, while four girls named Ume Salma, Mamoona Afzal, Areeba Aslam and Rameeza Wajid got third position with 1077 marks.

As a whole, 121505 students appeared in the exams in Rawalpindi, of which 94402 remained successful, while 26888 failed in the papers.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan have announced the results simultaneously.

Special ceremonies have organised by respective Boards, where position holders conferred with medals, cash prizes and certificates. The result of science group will also be available on the websites.
