HARIPUR – Reham Khan, former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, clarified that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his brother Shahbaz Sharif did not ask her to write a book.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, She said, “I am not in contact with former PTI leader and MNA Aisha Gulalai nor I meet Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam”.
Reham said she is not among the “backstabbers” and is not “answerable” to anyone.
Defaming anyone is not in our tradition, she said.
The social activist said that she was criticized when she wanted to make a movie. “Why allegations are still being levelled against me”, Khan questioned.
She further said that she was defamed and maligned after her divorce. “I remained in silence for the past two years”, the journalist lamented.
“I am a Pathan. I am not afraid of speaking the truth”, Reham explained.
“Only answerable to Almighty Allah”, the mother of three maintained.
She stated that the PTI chairman’s path became clear when the Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualified Nawaz Sharif.
