Pakistani movie, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani broke box-office records back in the day, becoming the highest-earning blockbuster film of 2015. It is known to be one of the most popular comedy films of Pakistan till date.
Last year, Humayun Saeed commented that the sequel of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani was on the cards and would be bigger and better than its predecessor.
The film is all set to hit the floors with a BANG next month, until which the casting will be completed. According to Nadeem Baig, the director of JPNA fame, “Humayun Saeed, Vasay Chaudhry, and Ahmad Ali Butt alongside Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan are part of the film. New additions to the cast includes Fahad Mustafa, opposite whom Syra Shahroz has been finalized.”
Nadeem further added that a potential actor was being considered for the role opposite Humayun Saeed and the audience will just have to wait for it! Also, after major speculations and sources, we have been informed that Hamza Ali Abbasi will not be seen in the sequel of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, but Nadeem is known for his surprises acts and says, “you never know, Hamza might make a special appearance perhaps.”
Baig revealed further that the majority of the shooting for Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 would be done outside Pakistan. But, it’s not Bangkok this time! As Nadeem puts it, the entire cast and crew are flying off for a European adventure this time around!
The film is all set for shooting next month.
