ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has claimed that Indian spy agency, RAW, was involved in instigating terrorism in Pakistan through Afghan based terror outfits.
During weekly news briefing on Thursday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria in support of his stance said the the spy agency has covert links with the militant groups in Afghanistan.
Responding to a question regarding Indian Army Chief’s statement of surgical strikes in Pakistan, Zakaraia said that the statement of India was not more than a pack of lies.
Calling on the international community to take notice of Indian aggression, he highlighted the address of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to the UN General Assembly in which he cleared that Pakistan will gave befitting response to any adventure against country’s sovereignty.
The violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir is getting worse with every passing day, he said, adding Indian atrocities are also increasing to suppress the self-determination movement of Kashmiris.
He highlighted ceasefire violations at the Line of Control and Working Boundary by the India forces, adding that the eastern neighbour was spreading unrest in the region in the guise of development in Afghanistan, Radio Pakistan reported.
Nafees Zakaria rejected any organised presence of Daesh, a terrorist group, in Pakistan.
He concluded that the security of Pakistan’s nuclear programme is at par with the international standards.
