SAHIWAL (Web Desk) – Four convicted killer have been hanged at the gallows till death in different jails of Punjab in Tuesday’s wee hours, local media reported.
A death row prisoner, Muhammed Sarwar, have been sent to the gallows in Sahiwal’s Central Jail at this daybreak. Sarwar killed a woman for honor in 1993.
In Mianwali, a convicted killer, Khizar Hayat, was hanged at the gallows in the city’s central jail early this morning. He killed a man over matchmaking dispute in 1998.
In Sargodha, another death house inmate, Muhammed Khan, breathed his last this morning in District Jail. He took life of a woman and her daughter during a robbery in 1998.
In Attock also, a twin-murder convict, Chan Zeb, was executed at District Jail in the early small hours today. The assassin killed two brothers over a longstanding feud.
