KARACHI (Web Desk) – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to probe those who received PhD degrees from Axact, which is under interrogation for running a fake degree business globally, local media reported on Tuesday.
Sources have also disclosed that the FIA authorities have decided to call Axact’s PhD degree holders in connection with the investigation.
Many notables including religious scholars, politicians and their family members are among those who possess fake Axact degrees.
Axact CEO Shoaib Sheikh, along with company’s six directors, is under custody of FIA that has recovered thousands of blank diplomas during latest raids on Axact offices.
