Shehbaz Sharif leaves for KSA on Saudi plane

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday left for Saudi Arabia where he is expected to hold important meetings with the royals and Saudi government officials.

The CM’s visit follows his meeting with the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan three days ago in Lahore.

The Saudi government had sent a special plane for the chief minister, who will stay in the Kingdom for three days.

Shehbaz will also perform Umrah while visiting the Kingdom.

The development comes after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif nominated Shehbaz as the candidate for the prime minister in the next elections.
