AIOU introduces B.Ed program for overseas Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has introduced some programs for overseas Pakistanis living in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain in order to provide them opportunities to enhance their academic standards.

This is for the first time that Overseas Pakistani are also being offered B.Ed and MBA (Commonwealth of Learning), the other programs includes: Allisan-ul-Arabi(Basic Arabic Course), Arabic Bol Chall, Secondary School Certificate (Matric), Higher Secondary School Certificate( FA General Group and I.Com.), Bachelor Programs (BA General Group, B.Com, BA Mass Communication and BA Library Science) and Short Term Courses. The last date for admission in these programs is March 5. Admission forms and prospectus for these programs could be downloaded from the University’s websitehttp://del.aiou.edu.pk.

The Pakistanis stationed in these countries could submit their admissions forms along with the prescribed fee in foreign currency within the stipulated date.

According to the Directorate of Overseas Education, Vice Chancellor has directed to provide maximum educational facilities to the overseas Pakistanis. The University has recently taken new initiatives to upgrade online learning for Pakistanis within abroad through the smart use of new technology.-Online
