SEOUL – South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its latest Notebook 5 and Notebook 3 series of laptops to target mid-range usage and market.
The Samsung Notebook 5 comes with a 15.6-inch 1080p screen and metal-body while Notebook 3 model comes in 14-inch and 15.6-inch display sizes.
Samsung Notebook 5
The new Notebook 5 comes with two processor options, one with an 8th Generation Intel quad-core processor and another with a 7th Gen Intel dual-core CPU. There are DDR4 type memory and an SSD + HDD configuration and are powered by a 43Wh battery.
The Samsung Notebook 5 features a 15.6-inch full HD display and is equipped with a 2GB Nvidia MX150 GPU.
Samsung Notebook 3
The NoteBook 3 series comes in two sizes 14-inch with a 720p display and 15.6-inch with 1080p or 720p display. Both laptops are powered by Intel 7th gen dual-core CPU or Intel 8th gen quad-core processor.
The 15.6-inch also equipped with 2GB Nvidia MX110 GPU.

These are practical laptops. They have full keyboards with numeric pads, “ergonomically crafted” keycaps and a wide trackpad. The screens have anti-glare panels calibrated with the Samsung Color Engine.
The Samsung Notebook 3 and 5 will be available first in and will then launch globally in the second quarter of this year.
