Lahore- Meet this 45 year old Amir Ashfaq who is now known for his passion of collecting toy cars. Boys while growing up in back in his time had very less toys to play with and mostly boys preferred playing with toy cars, he took his hobby and made a name out of it as Ashfaq now owns 5,500 toy cars. He is currently living with his parents in Lahore and has dedicated a room to his toy car collection.
It is not just some collection as he started collecting dinky cars when he was in grade 1 and didn’t stop after that. He has got the miniatures of the best cars from around the globe including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Ferrari,Audi, Porsche, Fiat, Volkswagen, Renault, Austin Martin, Jaguar, Ford, Rolls Royce, Lexus,Datsun,Maserati and more.
He told whenever he used to go for toy shopping he’d always pick a toy car without a beat from all the fun and colorful toys he would always insist on buying a dinky. He hobby got next level when he kept collection toy cars even after 25 years of age. He aims to break the world record of the largest toy car collection of a Lebanese toy car collector Billy Karam. He is determined to get more than 25,000 toy car collection which holds the world record. He explained how he never let his hobby get in his practical life. He is now the owner of largest toy car collection in South Asia.
