Saaf Pani Scam: NAB likely to arrest Shehbaz Sharif s son-in-law

LAHORE – Ali Imran, the son-in-law of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif is likely to be arrested after he again failed to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials in a case pertaining to Saaf Pani scam.

According to sources, despite summoning Ali Imran for five times by the anti-graft watchdog, he appeared before the bureau only one time.

The Punjab chief minister’s son-in-law had failed to explain his position during his appearance on April 24 and sought time till May 3 for the submission his reply over the questionnaire.

Sources said that Ali Imran had promised the anti-graft agency’s officials of not leaving the country but he left the country and didn’t appear before the investigating team.

“The Punjab CM’s son-in-law failed to appear on May, 3, 7 and 21,” sources said and added he couldn’t even provide evidence.
