ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will inaugurate various development projects in Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday.
The premier will lay foundation stones of Gilgit Naltar expressway road and Gilgit Baltistan secretariat project, reports Radio Pakistan.
The outgoing prime minister will also open the newly constructed building of Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly.
Later, the prime minister will address the joint session of Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly and Gilgit Baltistan Council.
On May 1, Prime Minister Abbasi inaugurated the New Islamabad International Airport. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the premier said this government not only starts development projects but also completes them.
He asserted that the airport sits at the crossroads of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and will help to become a new hub of interconnectivity.
