ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has said that his claim of ‘35 punctures’, which referred to rigging in Punjab’s 35 constituencies, was nothing more than a political statement.
Imran Khan said this in a private TV channel’s interview.
Anchorperson asked Khan as to why he shied away from bringing up the issue of ’35 punctures’ before the judicial commission probing the rigging allegations.
Brigadier (Retd) Samson Simon heard about the ‘35 punctures’ from Agha Murtaza Poya and its message got shared on social media in a tweet.
Imran Khan, however, claimed that his party succeeded in proving that rigging was carried out in general elections of 2013.
