LAHORE – A Pakistani robber compensated his crime by returning the amount taken from a local, but by increasing it by manifolds.
The crime had taken place back in 2000 when a Pakistani man who goes by the name Silly on Twitter, was robbed of Rs 12,000 while on his way to his native town from Gujranwala.

Interestingly, the ordeal pushed the man to leave the country.
However, the Pakistani, who is now based in Germany, received Rs 216,000 at his residence recently with a message from the robber that he was returning the amount on the basis of per year, Rs 2000 for 18 years.
Though there have been incidents of robbers returning back the amount out of guilt, Silly’s experience was unique in terms of the hefty amount he received.
The Pakistani Twitterati also shared that he would return the money to the ‘robber’, provided he is able to trace him.
