QUETTA (Staff Report) – Three people have been killed and two others injured in a targeted attack on members of Hazara community in Quetta. The incident took place on Monday morning.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on Hazara people outside passport office located on Quetta’s Joint Road.
Police and rescue officials confirmed that three people were killed on the spot, while two others were injured. Two policemen were also among the victims.
Rescue teams shifted the bodies to civil hospital and security forces cordoned off the area.
Earlier, a man was killed while at least 15 other people were hurt in a blast near Bacha Khan Chowk of Quetta.
