OSLO (Web Desk) – A two day Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit begins in Ufa, Russia, today,(Thursday), Radio Pakistan reported.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will lead the Pakistani delegation at the Summit.
Pakistan which enjoys Observer’s status in SCO, has been making substantive contribution to regional peace, security and development.
On the invitation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Nawaz Sharif will attend the outreach meeting of the leaders of BRICS states in Ufa. BRICS is an association of five major emerging national economies – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
The Prime Minister will also hold important bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the SCO Summit.
