PM Imran Khan arrives in Karachi

KARACHI – Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Karachi on Sunday in his first official visit to the metropolis after assuming office.

Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor Sindh Imran Ismael received the premier at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

During his day-long stay to the port city, the premier will hold meetings with members of the business community.

PM Imran will pay a visit to Quaid’s mausoleum. He will later visit the Governor House where he will be briefed regarding the security situation and development projects.

Sind Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, DG Rangers Sind Maj-Gen Mohammad Saeed, IG Sindh, and high-security officials will also attend the meeting.

Earlier, PTI lawmaker from Karachi, Amir Liaquat, criticized the premier for not visiting the city.
