MUMBAI – Ever since Tanushree Dutta shared her terrible experience of facing sexual harassment incident by veteran actor Nana Patekar, the internet was taken by storm.
Several Bollywood celebrities too have made their opinions public about the situation. From Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra to Shilpa Shetty, there have been many Bollywood celebs who have come out in support of Tanushree Dutta.
Tanushree gave Bollywood its #MeToo moment with her allegations that Nana Patekar sexually harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss, and that the director of Chocolate, Vivek Agnihotri, had asked her to take off her clothes to give cues to her co-actors.
However, the actress is disappointed because of one particular star, arguably the biggest Bollywood icon legend Amitabh Bachchan. At the trailer launch of his upcoming movie Thugs of Hindostan, Amitabh Bachchan was asked about the issue and his take on it. Big B, at the time, replied that neither is he Tanushree Dutta nor is he Nana Patekar and left it at that.

Talking to the local Indian channel the star had shared her disappointment with Amit Jee’s response to the entire situation saying: “I’m hurt, as these are people who do movies on social causes.”
Talking further about how these movies win the hearts of the audience, But when it comes to standing up and doing something about what is happening in front of you, there are these evasive statements that don’t make sense”.
On the other hand, the situation between Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar has been blazing and discussed on social media forums at the moment.
Even last week a rumor got to spread that Nana Patekar will send a legal notice to Tanushree for character assassination. To which the actress gave a strong reply and said such things don’t matter.
According to reports, Nana Jee will be holding a press conference on the issue and set the record straight.
