India 364-4 against West Indies in first Test

RAJKOT, India – Skipper Virat Kohli was batting on 72 as India reached 364 for four at stumps on day one of the opening Test against West Indies on Thursday.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, on 17, was partnered with Kohli at the close of play in Rajkot after the hosts elected to bat in the first of two Tests.

Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, who made 41, put on 105 runs for the third wicket after teenager Prithvi Shaw became the youngest-ever Indian batsman to make a century in their Test debut.
