RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Finally, super model Ayyan Ali has been released from the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi after she secured bail from the Lahore High Court on Tuesday.
Ayyan was received by her brother Zulfiqar outside the jail today, Thursday.
A two-member bench of Lahore High Court granted the super model bail in the currency smuggling case.
Ayyan was supposed to be released on Tuesday but her release was delayed for further two days as the banking court judge and staff were unavailable to sign the release orders.
The super model was arrested from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad on March 14 this year as she was caught red-handed carrying 500,000 dollars.
