LAHORE – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri underwent a surgery for cyst issue at a private hospital on Monday.
PAT spokesperson Noorullah Siddiqui said that the party chief was suffering from pain in the chest due to cyst since he came back to Pakistan.
The pain caused temperature and doctors advised him to undergo surgery, he said, adding that Qadri was now recovering fast.
He said that PAT head was still under the influence of anaesthesia, however, the doctors have declared the surgery successful, local media reported.
