France condemns attack on Quetta police training centre

PARIS - France on Tuesday condemned the attack on Police Training Centre in Quetta, that left sixty dead and hundreds injured.

Spokesperson of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development in a press release, said France presents its condolences to the families of victims in these tragic circumstances.

"France recalls its commitment and stands with the Pakistani authorities in front of terrorism,” he added.

At least 61 security personnel were martyred and over 100 including recruits were wounded as terrorists attacked Police training centre at Syriab road area of the provincial capital on Monday late night.

Militant group Islamic State on Tuesday claimed responsibility for the attack.

The terrorist group also released pictures of assailants who barged into the police training college and opened fire at the recruits.
