OCS, FedEx ink agreement for Pakistan s first FASC program

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Two leading companies in Pakistan’s courier, logistics and distribution industry, FedEx (Gerry’s International, a licensee of Federal Express Corporation) and OCS Pakistan (Private) limited, a subsidiary of Muller & Phipps Pakistan (M&P), have signed an agreement for establishing “FedEx Authorized Ship Centers (FASC)” for the first time in the country.

Under the agreement, OCS will book international shipments on behalf of Fedex at its courier centers.

The agreement was signed  by Mr. Akram Wali Muhammad (Group Managing Director, Gerry’s Group) and Mr. Kamran Nishat (MD & CEO, Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Private) Limited)

As of today, 42 FASCs will start operating in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Sialkot. Under the agreement, more than 300 FASCs will become operational all over Pakistan in the coming months.
