BRISBANE (Web Desk) – Misbah-ul-Haq, the Pakistan cricket team skipper, said it was tough day for the team against Zimbabwe where we were in a must-win situation.
Misbah, while expressing his views after the team won its first match in the world cup 2015, extended his hopes for the better performance in the mega event. “Nobody can imagine that how much happy we are, if we had lost we were out of the tournament”, he added.
He appreciated the performance by the bowlers after team failed put up a better score while batting first. The credit for the first win goes to Wahab and Irfan – both picked four wickets each – for their excellent bowling, he said.
The skipper said the pitch was really tough to bat on but it was make or break day for us. We were short of runs but still I struggled while batting, he explained.
