SRINAGAR (Online) – Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred 21 Kashmiris including 2 children during the last month of August.
According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, a young boy among the martyrs was killed in a fake encounter.

During the month, 339 people were critically injured when Indian police and paramilitary personnel used brute force against peaceful demonstrators in the occupied territory.
Over 390 civilians including Hurriyet leaders and activists were arrested.

The troops and police personnel also assaulted two women and destroyed four houses in the month.
