KARACHI: Following a verdict announced by the Sindh High Court (SHC) against giving portfolio to non-elected individuals, advisors to Sindh CM Moula Bux Chandio, Saeed Ghani and Special Assistant Dr. Abdul Qayum Soomro on Thursday tendered their resignations.
The local media reported that the court issued directions while hearing a contempt of court plea against the provincial government over not sacking former advisor on law, Murtaza Wahab despite orders issued two months ago.
The bench headed by Chief Justice (CJ) Sajjad Ali Shah sought de-notifying notifications of the three other advisors as per the directions of the court.
Speaking to a local news channel, Moula Bux Chandio said that he will accept every decision of his party.
