DELHI – Tej Bahadur Yadav, a soldier of Indian Army, who exposed the corruption in the army, went missing, his wife claimed.
Bahadur’s wife Sharmila has claimed that Border Security Force arrested the soldier after cancelling his voluntary resignation, adding that her husband informed her about the arrest two days ago during a phone call.
Saying that her husband’s life was in danger, she added that she would go on hunger strike if Bahadur is not released. She said her husband was to come back home on January 31 but he did not so far.
In a video shared on social media, the soldier deputed along the India-Pakistan border has pointed fingers at appalling working conditions blaming the high level of corruption in the army.
Yadav had accused senior officials of massive corruption that has forced soldiers to starve.
