DURHAM – Hollywood star Rihanna turned up in Durham to watch West Indies vs Sri Lanka match of the World Cup 2019.
Rihanna held the West Indies cricket flag proudly and cheered with friends as she watched her side take on the opponent.
“Look who came to #Rally with the #MenInMaroon today! Hey @rihanna!”, the West Indies tweeted on their official account, along with photos of her watching the game in northern England.

Dressed in white and wearing sunglasses, the Barbados-born singer gave vocal support to the two-time champions, who have flopped badly at the World Cup, winning just one match so far.
Rihanna was also spotted meeting former West Indies cricketer Joel Garner, a member of the highly regarded the late 1970s and early 1980s Windies cricket teams.
Her appearance at the stadium made her fans excited to see her in the World Cup spirit.
