ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has directed National Disaster Management Authority and the authorities concerned to expedite rescue and relief operation in affected areas.
The Prime Minister further directed to keep him updated on the situation.

The Prime Minister also directed for provision of food, shelter and other facilities to the affected people. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has also expressed grief and sorrow over casualties in rain related incidents in the country.
Nawaz also expressed grief over the loss of human lives in rain and flood related incidents.
