LAHORE (Web Desk) – Dwayne Bravo is a lot more than a cricketer – a singer and “Champion” now!
The ‘Champion’ dance from the West Indian cricketers has gone viral during the ICC World T20 as the team, especially Dwayne Bravo, have been using it as a celebration during the tournament.
Now the song, “Champion”, which is released by Dwayne Bravo and presented by Vega Entertainment, has caught the imagination of all cricket fans.
A video of Bravo also featuring skipper Darren Sammy and Chris Gayle celebrating after the win over India also gone viral overnight.
The lyrics of “Champion” hail West Indian cricketers like Gayle, Brian Lara, Sir Vivian Richards, Malcolm Marshall and Bravo himself as champions. The song also refers to sportspersons from other fields such as Usain Bolt and Serena Williams, and political figures like Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama.
This is the third single that Bravo has released after ‘Go Gyal Go’ and ‘Chalo Chalo’. He has also played a small role in the Tamil film Ula.
The West Indies will be hoping to win the World T20 for the second time after winning the competition in 2012. They will be facing England in the final at the Eden Gardens today, April 3.
