COAS Bajwa, Corps Commanders discuss law amp; order, border issues in 7-hour-long conference

RAWALPINDI – A special Corps Commanders Conference was chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters on Tuesday, which lasted  for 7 hours.

During the conference, the army high command discussed matters related to security and defence of Pakistan. The progress of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and infrastructure development in the tribal areas of the country was also reviewed, according to reports in local media.

Senior officers, other than the corps commanders, were also present in the meeting where the COAS informed them about his recent visit to Afghanistan and his meetings with the officials there.

The conference was summoned by General Bajwa after his day-long visit to Kabul on Sunday, where he met Afghan president and senior military officials to discuss regional security and border management.
