KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan is going to host three international snooker events, starting from Thursday – August 6, 2015.
The events include World Six Red Snooker Championship (male & female), World Team Snooker Championship and Master’s Team Championship. Teams from 18 countries, including India, will participate in these championships, while 26 Pakistani players are participating.
Pakistan was not able to host any sports event, after the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009. In such circumstances, organising international events will pave the ways to resume sporting activities in Pakistan.
