ISLAMABAD – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar telephoned Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah on Monday and informed him of the government’s nominees to the Election Commission of Pakistan, proposed by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The opposition leader said that the list of nominees from their side would be finalized by Eid-ul-Fitr.
Both sides will exchange the proposed lists after the 11th of this month.
The two leaders also agreed to complete the procedure of appointment of ECP members within forty-five days, as per the Constitution.
