LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Sharhyar Khan Thursday termed Pakistan’s Test skipper Misbahul Haq a better captain than Imran Khan.
The PCB chairman said this while talking to media following an appearance before the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination in Islamabad.
“I said this on the basis of cricket. I have no political affiliation. I respect him as a player. I am not in politics. This is on the basis of statistics,” he said.
Imran Khan, who is now one of the top politicians in the country, led his team to 14 Test victories in the 48 matches while Misbah led the team in 55 Test matches, winning 25.
Misbahul Haq will play his last match against West Indies on May 10.
