KABUL – At least 36 people have been killed in a horrific road accident at Kabul-Kandahar highway, the Afghan news agencies said on Sunday.
According to details, the accident took place early in the morning. As many as 28 people were also severely wounded in the tragedy. The crash involved a bus and a container.
Afghan officials said that the injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital by the rescuers. An investigation is still underway to identify the cause of the crash.
