Taylor Swift is a goth jazz lady in January 2018 British Vogue cover

LONDON – The British ‘Vogue’ magazine has revealed its January 2018 cover star and it’s none other than Taylor Swift. But guess what, ‘the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now!’

The cover has revealed Taylor in a goth classy act. The look is a perfect mix of the steampunk goth era and 1920s classy jazz act (The great Gatsby).

Taylor dons a dark goth lip colour with a deep red sequined outfit to go with it. She has also posted two more looks from the issue depicting a similar theme.

“Obviously she is a world-class lyricist – and has written a stunning poem just for Vogue on the timely subject of reinvention and moving on – but she also takes her duties as a role model very seriously. Taylor is acutely aware of her following and how she communicates with young women, and will never portray a character that would send the wrong message. That said, even superstars aren’t immune to the power of a great dress. Taylor says she has never seen herself transformed like this before, and I was very touched to see how emotional she was at the end of our shoot day in London,” said Edward Enninful representing Vogue.

Taylor’s new album ‘Reputation’ has become the highest selling record of 2017. Taylor is currently preparing for her worldwide tour in 2018.
